P.S.: Here's "Benny" today, still showing her horsey smile. She's wearing very nice Tanzanite earrings! (Tanzanite costs a fortune for what you get).

I think Haya should sue her plastic surgeon. What a no(i)se-tte...

The menu that wasn't served. "Non servi".

Dinner menu to honour King Alexander of Yugoslavia's official visit to France. He was assassinated that very day. 1934.

I am intrigued by the dishes, so I looked them up. Maybe, who knows, I'll throw a dinner party one day, and so might you.

Do you dare to serve the meal fit for a dead King? (grin) (grin)

Suprême de Sole Murat

750 g fillets of sole

100 ml oil
30 olivette potatoes
10 cooked artichoke bottoms

chopped parsley
1. Cut the fillets into strips 6 cm x 1 cm, pass the goujons through the flour and shake off the surplus.

2. Heat the oil in a frying pan, place the fish into the hot oil and fry quickly until golden, then drain. Add the artichokes cut into 1 cm strips and the cooked potatoes and toss to heat and mix.

An odd souvenir from modern-day Russia -- a painting of the Grand Duchess Elizaveta Feodorovna, Ella, dressed in her Mary & Martha habit.

Kinda creepy, if you ask me.

Also it looks like Shirley Maclaine in "Three Mules for Sister Sara"!

"Sisitourism" is rumoured to be a multi-hundred-million dollar enterprise for the Austrian state's coffers. With their VAT, obviously.

I personally wouldn't mind their cashing in on the late Empress' legacy (given that she was an awful monarch in her lifetime), but really, this is pure shoddiness.

DVDs. Books. CDs. Marital aids, if you'd half give them a chance...
